TERESA ISABEL NNANG AVOMO, NEW GENERAL DIRECTOR OF THE NATIONAL PETROLEUM COMPANY OF EQUATORIAL GUINEA (GEPETROL)

On February 24, 2023, through Presidential Decree no. 50/2023, sanctioned by the President of the Republic, Mrs. Teresa Isabel Nnang Avomo was appointed General Director of the National Oil Company of Equatorial Guinea (Gepetrol).
She is the first woman entrusted to lead the senior management of the Gepetrol company since its creation in 2001.
Mrs. Nnang replaces the Hon. Mr. Antonio Oburu Ondó, after being appointed Minister of Mines and Hydrocarbons.
The new tenant in the General Management of Gepetrol, she served as Deputy Director of Operations and Projects of the company Gepetrol, until the date in which she has been entrusted with the position of General Director of Gepetrol.
